Members of Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive arrested an alleged organiser of outlawed Islamist militant Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), Chittagong unit, from Nagarpur upazila of the district early hours of Friday.The arrested was Minhazul Islam Sajid, 24, son of Tofazzol Hossain, a resident of Sonapara village under Zuranganj upazila in Chittagong district.On a tip-off, a team of Chittagong detective branch conducted the drive at Pakutia village of the upazila and arrested Minhazul, said Officer-in-Charge of Tangail DB police Golam Mahafijul Rahman this morning.Minhazul was involved in the killing of three people in Sadarghat area of the city on September 23.
