Members of Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive arrested a man along with two pistols, two magazines and four rounds of bullet from city’s Khilgaon area on Thursday night.
The arrestee was identified as Md Sajedul Islam.
Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of DMP said according to the confess statement of AKM Shohid Sharawardi, who was arrested from the area, now in remand, a team of DB conducted a drive at the area and arrested the Sajedul Islam.
During the drive DB men also recovered two pistols, two magazines and four rounds of bullet from his possession.
A case was filed against him in this connection.
