Eighteen activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir were detained during a raid in Merul Badda area of Dhaka, police said on Friday.Abdul Jalil, officer-in-charge of Badda Police Station said they were detained while holding a clandestine meeting at house no. 8 in Merul Badda.
