Officers-in-charge of Kalihati and Ghatail Police Station were closed to the district police lines on Sunday night in connection with Friday’s police firing on a demonstration in Kalihati upazila.The two police officers are - Mukhlesur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Ghatail Police Station, and Shahidul Islam, officer-in-charge Kalihati Police Station.Sharifur Rahman, ASP of Tangail (South) confirmed the incident to JagoNews24.com.Earlier, seven policemen involved in opening the fire on locals during their protest against assault of a woman and her son Friday, were closed to Dhaka Range.
