Malaysian immigration police detained a total of 2000 illegal workers including 57 Bangladeshi from the states of Malacca and Sarawak recently.Malaysian immigration department confirmed the matter.Assistant Superintendent of Police of Malacca Sheikh Abdul Aziz Abdullah said immigration police held them as they failed to show valid documents. The drive against illegal immigrants will be continued, he added.
