The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the suspension of the online application process for the 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination. BPSC Public Relations Officer SM Matiur Rahman shared this information on Monday at around 4:45 PM.
The online application process was scheduled to begin on Tuesday (December 10). However, just hours before its commencement, the BPSC announced its suspension.
SM Matiur could not immediately provide a reason for suspending the application process.
The 47th BCS circular, published on November 28, announced 3,688 vacancies. According to the notification, the application submission and fee payment process were scheduled to begin on December 10 at 10:00 am and conclude on December 31 at 11:59 pm. However, the process has been suspended a day before it was set to start.
For the 47th BCS, a total of 3,487 candidates were to be recruited for cadre positions, while 201 positions were allocated for non-cadre posts.
