Three people were killed and at least 20 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Dinajpur’s Birganj on Friday morning, December 6.
Among the dead, one was identified as Abdul Karim, 45, driver of the bus.
Quoting locals, Birganj police station’s officer-in-charge Abdul Gafur said a Panchagarh-bound bus from Dhaka collided head-on with a truck coming from Thakurgaon at Jadur Mor in Kamarpur area on the Dinajpur-Thakurgaon highway around 8:30am, leaving drivers of both vehicles and a passenger dead on the spot, and at least 20 others injured.
