The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association, BAJUS, has reduced the price of 22 carat gold by Tk 1,481 to Tk 1,37,227 per bhori.
Besides, 21-carat gold was cut by Tk 1,400 to 1,30,998 a bhori (11.664 grams), 18-carat by Tk 1,202 to Tk 1,12,289, and gold of traditional method by Tk 1,026 to Tk 92,134 respectively, BAJUS said in a statement on Sunday, December 1.
The association said it decreased the prices following a reduction in the price of pure gold in the local market.
The new prices will come into effect from Monday, December 2.
Earlier on November 28, BAJUS lowered the price of 22 carat gold by Tk 1,154 to Tk 1,38,708 per bhori.
