The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association, BAJUS, has hiked the price of 22 carat gold by Tk 1,154 to Tk 1,38,708 per bhori.
Besides, 21-carat gold was raised by Tk 1,096 to 1,32,398 a bhori (11.664 grams), 18-carat by Tk 945 to Tk 1,13,491, and gold of traditional method by Tk 804 to Tk 93,160 respectively, BAJUS said in a statement on Wednesday (November 27).
The association said it increased the prices following a rise in the price of pure gold in the local market.
The new prices will come into effect from Thursday (November 28).
Earlier on Tuesday, BAJUS reduced the price of 22 carat gold by Tk 2,822 to Tk 1,37,554 per bhori.
