Four more dengue patients died and 888 were hospitalised in the country in the last 24 hours.
With this, a total of 89,603 dengue cases and 475 deaths from the mosquito-borne disease were reported from January 1 to November 27 this year, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said on Wednesday.
Of the dead, two were from Dhaka South City Corporation, and two from Barishal division, according to the release.
Last year, the country recorded 1,705 deaths from the disease which was the highest fatality in a year.
Besides, 3,21,179 dengue cases were reported in the same year.
