A portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was taken down from the Election Commission's conference room shortly before journalists’  views exchange with the newly appointed Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), AMM Md Nasir Uddin, and four other Election Commissioners.

The removal took place around 4:00pm on Sunday (November 24) at the Election Commission building, where more than a hundred journalists had gathered to cover the event.
