CA orders probe into alleged harassment of Nurul Kabir

Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus has instructed the relevant authorities to investigate the alleged harassment of New Age editor Nurul Kabir at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka. 

“Eminent editor Nurul Kabir has said he was harassed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport recently. We sincerely regret the incident,” Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, said on Saturday.  

He stated that the interim government would not tolerate any form of harassment against journalists in the country. Nurul Kabir is one of our most respected editors, a vocal advocate for reason, and a leading champion of journalistic ethics. 

He also mentioned that Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has ordered an investigation into the incident.
