PRAN-RFL Group, the country’s leading business conglomerate, and Winrock International’s ‘Ashshash’ project have signed a ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MoU) to support victims of human trafficking.
This collaboration aims to provide job placements, entrepreneurial support, and other relevant services to aid in the victims' reintegration.
Uzma Chowdhury, Director (Corporate Finance) of PRAN-RFL Group, and Mrinmoy Mohajan, Policy Advocacy Specialist of ‘Ashshash’ project signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations at the PRAN-RFL Group's head office recently.
This agreement marks the second partnership between the two parties. In first phase, more than 50 human trafficking victims get job at PRAN-RFL group. Under this MoU, both parties will collaborate to provide job opportunities, training, capital support for entrepreneurship, and additional assistance to the victims
Nurul Afser, Head of Corporate Brand, PRAN-RFL Group and Nazmul Islam, Senior Manager (Social Protection) of Ashshash’ project and Noshin Sharmilee, Private Sector Engagement Manager were also present at the program.
