Newly appointed four more members of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) took oath on Wednesday.
They are Md Zahirul Islam Bhuiyan, ASM Golam Hafiz, Dr M Sohel Rahman and Dr Chowdhury Saima Ferdous.
Chief Justice Dr Syed Refaat Ahmed administered the oath to the PSC members at the Supreme Court Judges' Lounge, while Supreme Court Registrar General Aziz Ahmed Bhuiyan conducted the ceremony.
PSC and Supreme Court registrar office officials were present on the occasion, among others.
Earlier on October 15, newly appointed Chairman of the PSC Prof Dr Mobasser Momen and four members Dr Nurul Kadir, Dr Mohammad Aminul Islam, Dr Mohammad Nazmul Amin and Md Sujayet Ullah took oath.
The government on October 9 appointed Dr Mobasser Momen, a professor of the Public Administration Department of Dhaka University, as the new Chairman of the PSC.
Previous chairman of PSC Md Sohrab Hossain and 11 members tendered their resignation on October 8, 2024.
