30 more journalists’ Press Accreditation Card scrapped

The Press Information Department, PID, has scrapped permanent and temporary Press Accreditation Card issued to 30 journalists.

This information was provided in an order signed by PID’s chief information officer Md Nizamul Kabir on Sunday (November 3).

The journalists whose Accreditation Card were cancelled are TV Today’s Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Kaler Kantha’s Imdadul Haq Milon, News24’s Rahul Saha, ATN News’s Nurul Amin Prabhas, Daily Destiny’s Sohel Haider Chowdhury, DBC News’s Mohammad Manzurul Islam, Somoy TV’s Ahmed Zobayer, Daily Jagaran’s Abed Khan, News24’s Joydev Chandra Das, Nagarik TV’s Deep Azad, ATN Bangla’s ZI Mamun, Bangladesh Sangbad Sangsthar Md Omar Faruque, Hosne Ara Mamata Islam Soma of Channel i, Daily Amader Arthoneeti Masuda Bhatti, Daily Purbakon’s Kuddus Afrad, Baishakhi TV’s Saiful Islam, DBC News’s Naznin Nahar Munni, Freelancer Nadim Kadir, BSS’s Madhusudhan Mondal, Independent TV’s Ashish Ghosh Saikat, Dainik Bangla’s Zafarullah Sharafat, Dainik Anandabazar’s Kishore Kumar Sarker, Daily Bangladesh Bulletin’s Rafiqul Islam Ratan, My TV’s Nasir Uddin, RTV’s Ashikur Rahman, Ekushey TV’s Akhil Kumar Podder, Gazi TV’s Anjan Roy, RTV’s CEO Ashiqur Rahman, and Daily Bhorer Kagaj’s news editor Ikhtiar Uddin.

Earlier on October 28, the Press Information Department cancelled Press Accreditation Card of 20 journalists and officials.
