Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport will suspend flight operations nightly from November 8 to 14 for essential runway maintenance, the airport authority announced on Monday (November 4).
According to the notice, the airport will close its runway each night from 1:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. for lighting system maintenance. This three-and-a-half-hour shutdown will temporarily halt all runway activities, impacting both arrivals and departures. A NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) has been issued to inform airlines and relevant organizations.
During the maintenance period, flight schedules may be subject to changes, and the airport authority has coordinated with airlines to minimize disruptions. Passengers are advised to reconfirm their flight timings in advance. For further assistance, travelers can contact the Airport Call Center at 13600.
