Former senior secretary of the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mostafa Kamal, was arrested in the capital on Thursday.
Rezaul Karim Mallik, Chief of the Detective Branch of Police, confirmed this information to Jago News.
Several cases have been filed against him; however, it has yet to be decided under which case he will be shown as arrested, he added.
