The High Court has granted anticipatory bail to senior Supreme Court lawyer ZI Khan Panna in connection with an attempted murder case filed at Khilgaon Police Station in the capital.
The order was issued on Monday (August 21) by a High Court bench comprising Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Syed Enayet Hossain after hearing the matter.
Representing ZI Khan Panna in court were senior lawyer Ahsanul Karim, along with lawyers Ali Ahmed Khokon, Mohammad Shishir Manir, and Mohammad Hossain, among others.
On Sunday (October 20), ZI Khan Panna had applied for anticipatory bail following the registration of the attempted murder case against him at Khilgaon Police Station on Thursday, October 17.
