The government has appointed pediatric surgeon professor Dr Md Abu Zafar as the new director general of the Directorate General of Health Services, DGHS.
This information was disclosed in a notification signed by Md Abu Rayhan, senior assistant secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Tuesday (October 15).
Earlier, the government removed prof Dr Mohammad Robed Amin from the post of DGHS DG on September 12, just 24 days after he assumed the position.
