43rd BCS recruitment gazette likely this week

The gazette notification for the 43rd BCS recruitment is expected to be issued this week, with all related work reportedly completed, according to the Ministry of Public Administration.

The Ministry will issue the notification through its New Recruitment Wing, appointing candidates recommended by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) across various cadres.

In this regard, Rahima Khatun, Joint Secretary of the Recruitment, Promotion, and Transfer (APD) Sub-division of the Ministry of Public Administration, told Jago News, "The notification for the 43rd BCS recruitment will be issued soon, InshaAllah. Our work is finished. We hope it will happen within this week. We understand the candidates' eagerness and anxiety."

This recruitment is taking place nearly 10 months after the BPSC's recommendations, and the entire recruitment process for this BCS has taken about four years to complete.

Previously, on December 26 of last year, the final results of the 43rd BCS examinations conducted by the BPSC were published. A total of 2,163 candidates were recommended for appointment to various cadres, and 642 were also recommended for non-cadre posts.

The BPSC published the written exam results for the 43rd BCS on August 20 last year, with a total of 9,841 candidates passing the exam. The viva voce for candidates concluded in November of the same year.
