September sees 6.78% rise in export earnings

The country’s export earnings rose by 6.78 per cent to $3.52 billion in September, which was $3.29 billion in the same month of last year.

In July-September 2024, the export earnings increased by 5.04 per cent to $11.37 billion, which is 0.55 per cent more than that of the same period of the last FY.

The Export Promotion Bureau, EPB, disclosed this information on Wednesday (October 9).

In September, the export earnings from apparel sector rose by 6 per cent to $2.78 billion, woven products increased by 8.02 percent to $1.18 billion, while knitwear products increased by 4.40 per cent to $1.60 billion, EPB said.
