BFIU freezes bank accounts of ex-minister Abdur Razzaque

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit, BFIU, has asked all banks to freeze the accounts of former Agriculture Minister Dr Md Abdur Razzaque, his wife, and their three children.

The BFIU issued the directive to banks on Thursday (October 3), instructing them to freeze the accounts for the next 30 days.

It also directed banks and financial institutions to send information (account opening form, KYC and transaction, etc.) related to the accounts.
