An elderly man and a teenaged boy were found dead in a grocery shop in Dhaka’s Gulshan area on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Md Rafique, 80, from Dabdabia village in Barishal’s Sadar, and Md Sabbir, 16, from Rayganj Bazar Bepari Para in Gauripur of Mymensingh. Of them, Rafique was owner of the shop while Sabbir worked there.
Md Touhid Ahmed, officer-in-charge of the Gulshan Model police station, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Being informed that two bodies were found inside a shop on Road 108 of Gulshan-2, the police went to the spot, he said.
The Criminal Investigation Department, CID, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, and the Rapid Action Battalion are working together to know the reasons behind the deaths, he added.
