The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has apprehended an Indian Border Security Force (BSF) jawan, Upal Kumar Das, for illegally crossing into Bangladesh near the Dinajpur border.
Shariful Islam, the public relations officer at BGB headquarters, confirmed the arrest on Tuesday (September 24).
He said that Upal Kumar Das was detained at the Biral border in Dinajpur for unauthorised infiltration.
Further actions are currently being taken regarding the incident, according to BGB.
