Khaleda surrenders in sedition case

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Wednesday surrendered before the court Dhaka Judge’s Court in a sedition case filed over her controversial remarks about the figure martyrs during the Liberation War in 1971.

BNP chief surrendered before Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah in the sedition case in the mroring and sought bail.

Earlier, on December 21, 2015, Khaleda in a program organized by Nationalist Freedom Fighters Dal made a controversial remark by saying that there is a debate about the accurate number of martyrs during the Liberation War in 1971, in city’s Engineers Institution.
