Three advisers to the interim government visited Ganabhaban on Saturday morning.
Adilur Rahman Khan, adviser to the Ministry of Housing and Public Works and Industries, Nahid Islam, adviser to the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports arrived at the Prime Minister’s official residence around 11 am.
Their visit was part of an initiative to transform Ganabhaban into a ‘July Uprising Memorial Museum’.
Earlier, the advisory council of the interim government had decided to turn Ganabhaban into a museum to commemorate the student-led July uprising.
However, Adviser Asif Mahmud Bhuiyan posted a photo of the visit to Ganabhaban.
“Ganabhaban’s wall...preliminary inspection for conversion to July Uprising Memorial Museum,” he wrote in the post.
