US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu will visit Dhaka in the middle of this month to establish relations with the interim government and determine the future course of action.
Source said the Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus will travel to New York for a short visit to attend the session of the United Nations General Assembly in September. Prior to that, a U.S. delegation will visit Dhaka to hold discussions with the interim government and determine the future course of action.
In addition to US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu, the delegation will include US Department of the Treasury Assistant Secretary for International Finance Brent Neiman and National Security Council Senior Director Lindsay Ford.
Earlier in May, Donald Lu visited Dhaka with an US delegation.
