BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced on Thursday that the interim government will reveal the outline for the upcoming election after completing necessary reforms.
Fakhrul described the party’s discussions with Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus as fruitful and expressed optimism that the government will soon stabilize the country.
These comments followed a meeting between a three-member BNP delegation and the Chief Adviser at the state guesthouse Jamuna.
The delegation, led by Mirza Fakhrul, included standing committee members Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed. The meeting began at 4:00 pm, according to BNP media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
Fakhrul has been actively advocating for the interim government to engage in dialogue with political parties to address national elections and state reforms.
This meeting follows an earlier discussion on August 12, when a seven-member BNP delegation first met with Dr Yunus after his appointment as Chief Adviser.
