The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit has asked all the banks to freeze the accounts of former State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and his wife.
The government agency sent letters to the banks on Tuesday.
BFIU also instructed the banks to freeze the accounts of their family members, and business entities owned by them.
