Five more judges of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court have stepped down.
The five judges are Justice M Enayetur Rahim, Justice Md Abu Zafor Siddique, Justice Jahangir Hossain Selim, Justice Md Shahinur Islam and Justice Kashefa Hussain.
They submitted their resignation letters to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs on Saturday evening.
Earlier this afternoon, Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan resigned in response to a student protest today, where demonstrators issued an ultimatum for him and the judges of the Appellate Division to resign.
