Chief Adviser to the interim government Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus on Saturday said we are all Abu Sayeed. Abu Sayeed’s mother is the mother of all. This is Abu Sayeed’s Bangladesh. There is no difference in this Bangladesh.

Yunus said this while visiting the home of Abu Sayeed, a student of Begum Rokeya University, who was killed in police firing during the recent quota reform movement in Rangpur.

He offered prayers at his and also talked to his family members.

The interim government chief told locals that those who (Abu Sayeed’s family) are here must be protected. His mother and sisters have to be protected.

Following meeting with the Abu Sayeed’s family members, Yunus will go to the Begum Rokeya University. He will also go to Rangpur Medical College Hospital to visit the people injured in the recent quota reform movement.

Earlier in the morning, Yunus went to Jafarpara Babanpur village in Pirganj upazila by a helicopter to visit Abu Sayed’s home.

However, the security measures have been beefed up in the area over the arrival of the interim government chief. The members of army and other law enforcement agencies are staying there.
