Salam Murshedy resigns from BFF

Abdus Salam Murshedy has resigned from his position as Senior Vice President of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).

He announced his resignation to the BFF on Thursday night (August 8).

Murshedy had held this significant role since 2008. In addition to serving as senior vice president, he was also the chairman of BFF's finance committee and referees committee.

The former star footballer was also a member of parliament in the outgoing Awami League government. Following the fall of the Hasina government, football fans had been calling for resignation of BFF President Kazi Md Salahuddin and Salam Murshedy.
