The Indian Railways have decided to keep shut the train services with Bangladesh for an indefinite period amid the unrest in the neighbouring country.
All schedules of the Kolkata-Dhaka-Kolkata Maitree Express, Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka Maitree Express, Kolkata-Khulna-Kolkata Bandhan Express, and the Dhaka-New Jalpaiguri-Dhaka Mitali Express were suspended until further notice, the Eastern Railway’s public relations officer, Koushik Mitra, said in a statement.
