Students block Science Lab intersection

Students blocked the Science Lab intersection in Dhaka on Friday afternoon demanding justice for the deaths of fellow students during the quota reform movement.

They blocked the intersection in the capital around 2:40 pm after a mass procession as part of the central programmes of the Anti-Discrimination Students’ Movement.

At that time, the presence of additional police members was seen near the intersection.

On Thursday evening, one of the coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Students’ Movement, Abdul Quader, announced prayers and mass procession programmes on Friday.

He said, “I am announcing nationwide prayers and mass processions on Friday in remembrance of those who were killed, injured, and arrested participating in movement.”
