A special tribunal in Dhaka on Monday issued arrest warrant against six persons of Mymensingh district for their alleged crimes against humanity during the country’s Liberation War in 1971.
The International Crimes Tribunal-1 led by Justice Anwarul Haque passed the order following a petition filed by the prosecution seeking the arrest warrants, Prosecutor Abul Kalam told.
The six persons were allegedly involved with the activities of Razakars and Al-Badr Bahini at Muktagachha and Sadar upazila of Mymensingh, the prosecutor said.
Razakars and Al-Badr, two anti-liberation forces, collaborated with the Pakistan army in committing crimes during the country’s Liberation War in 1971.
