Two members of armed separatist group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) were killed in the joint forces’ operation in Bandarban on Wednesday morning.
The incident took place at Saikot Para in Ruma upazila of the district.
Arms, ammunition and other materials were recovered from their possession.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the matter in a press release.
However, the ISPR did not disclose the identities of the deceased.
