Islamic Arabic Univ suspends Fazil exams

The Fazil examinations for all madrasas in the country, conducted under Islamic Arabic University, have been suspended. This decision was announced in a notice signed by the Controller of Examinations, AKM Aktaruzzaman on Wednesday.

The suspension affects the Fazil Honors First, Second, Third, and Fourth Year Examination-2022, which were scheduled to start on July 18. The notice cited "unavoidable reasons" for the postponement. The new schedule for the postponed examinations will be announced later through an official notification.

Additionally, on the night of July 16, Islamic Arabic University issued another notice stating that, in accordance with the decision of the government and the University Grants Commission, all affiliated Fazil and Kamil madrasas will remain closed until further notice. This measure is being taken for student safety.

This information was detailed in a circular signed by the university's registrar, Dr Mohammad Kamrul Islam, with the approval of the vice-chancellor.
