The main part of the High Court's judgment declaring the circular that canceled the quota for freedom fighters in government jobs (Class I and II) illegal has been published.
According to the High Court verdict, the government can reform the quota if it needs or wants.
Deputy Attorney General Sheikh Mohammad Saifuzzaman Zaman confirmed to Jago News that the main part of the High Court's controversial judgment on the reinstatement of quotas was published on Thursday (July 11).
He stated that copies of the judgment declaring the 2018 circular canceling the Muktijoddha quota as illegal are now available at the dispatch branch of the Supreme Court.
However, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has issued a status quo order on the HC verdict. On Wednesday (July 10), the Appellate Division ordered a one-month status quo on the High Court's verdict declaring the circular canceling the quota system in government jobs as 'illegal'.
