18th teachers’ registration written exams on time: NTRCA

The 18th teachers’ registration written examinations will be held on time. No decision was taken to defer the examinations. 

A press released, signed by Muhammad Nure Alam Siddiqui, Joint Secretary of the Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA), confirmed the matter on Wednesday.  

“The written examinations of 18th Teachers’ Registration Examinations-2023 will be held on July 12 and 13 in eight divisional cities of the country. The cities are Dhaka, Barishal, Chattogram, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Rangpur and Sylhet,” the press release said.   

“As per the examination schedule, the school-2 and school-level examinations will be held from 9am to 12pm on July 12. On the other hand, college-level examinations will commence at 9am and end at 12pm on July 12,” it said. 

Meanwhile, NTRCA urged the examinees not to pay heed to any rumour over the postponement of the 18th teachers’ registration written examinations.  

Earlier on May 15, the results of both the school and college levels of 18th teachers’ registration preliminary examinations were published. A total of 479,981 candidates - 221,652 candidates from school level, 29,516 from school level-2 and 228,813 candidates from college came out successful in the examinations.
