Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed's a duplex house in Narayanganj has been seized following a court order.
A team of Narayanganj district administration and the Anti-Corruption Commission's (ACC) coordinated district office seized the house in Rupganj on Saturday afternoon.
Mainul Hasan Rawshani, deputy director of the coordinated district office of the ACC, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Mahmudul Haque, additional DC (revenue) Md Shafiqur Rahman, Rupganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Ahsan Mahmud Rasel, and ACC's Narayanganj coordinated district office deputy director Mainul Hasan Rawshani were present during the seizure.

On June, a court in Dhaka ordered the confiscation of more properties, including the duplex house, of the former IGP after an appeal filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission.
Later, the court asked authorities concerned to appoint a receiver to take care of the house which worth is around Tk 10 crore.
