Throat-slit bodies of a couple have been recovered in Jatrabari of Dhaka.
The deceased were identified as Shafiqur Rahman, 60, and his wife Farida Yeasmin, 50.
The incident occurred in a house at West Momenbag on Wednesday midnight, said Jatrabari Police Station inspector (operation) Md Tawhidul Haque Mamun.
Being informed, police recovered the bodies on Thursday morning, he said, adding that both bodies bore injury marks.
"We assume miscreants hacked them to death anytime at night. The incident is being investigated," inspector Tawhidul said.
