Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has left Dhaka for Singapore for his regular health check-up.
He left Dhaka in a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Tuesday morning.
Sheikh Walid Fayez, Senior Information Officer of Road Transport and Bridges Ministry, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said Quader will return to the country soon after having the medical tests at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.
The AL leader has been suffering from chronic heart and lung problems for long.
