The Army recovered the bodies of a couple and their child trapped in a landslide in Sylhet city on Monday afternoon.
The deceased were Md Karim Uddin, his wife Shammi Akter Ruji, and their 16-month-old child Taniz.
The bodies were retrieved around 1:30 pm, Faruque Ahmed, brigadier general of the Army, told Jago News.
Earlier around 7 am, nine members of a family were trapped in a landslide in Mejortila Chamelibhag Mohammadpur area and locals managed to rescue six of them.
Later, the Fire Service personnel and police members conducted a drive to rescue the remaining three but couldn't.
After 12 noon, the Army personnel joined the operation and recovered their bodies.
