Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali has proposed a Tk 30,175 crore allocation for the power, energy and mineral resources sector.
He proposed this while unveiling the proposed national budget of Tk 7,97,000 crore for the 2024-25 fiscal year at Jatiya Sangsad on Thursday.
The allotment is Tk 4,511 crore less than that of the current fiscal year which saw a Tk 34,686 crore allocation.
