Secondary schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical educational institutions in the country's 25 districts will remain closed on Saturday to ensure the health protection of the students amid a heatwave.
All districts of Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, Dhaka and Tangail of Dhaka division, Chandpur of Chattogram division and Rangpur, Kurigram, Nilphamari, and Dinajpur of Rangpur division where the institutions will stay shut.
A press release, signed by MA Khair, information and public relations officer of the Education Ministry, said this on Friday afternoon.
Earlier on Thursday, the ministry said all the secondary schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical educational institutions will reopen on Saturday but today the decision was revised.
