The Bangladeshi-flagged vessel MV Abdullah, which was hijacked by Somali pirates and released after 32 days, is on its way to the country.

The vessel left the United Arab Emirates’ Mina Saqr port for Bangladesh on Monday midnight. It loaded around 56,000 tonnes of limestone from the port.

Abdur Rashid, captain of the ship, confirmed the matter to Jago News.

He said we left for the country on the night of April 29 after loading the limestone at Mina Saqr port. The cargo will be unloaded at Kutubdia.

SR Shipping, the owner of the MV Abdullah, is expecting that the ship will reach Kutubdia in Chattogram on May 12 or 13.
