The government has decided to keep its all primary schools shut until Thursday due to intense heatwave.
The schools under the Children Welfare Trust and Learning Centre of the Bureau of Non-Formal Education will also remain closed during the same period.
The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education confirmed the matter in a press release on Monday.
Earlier in the day, the High Court directed to keep primary, high schools and madrasas shut until Thursday due to ongoing heatwave.
The HC bench of Justice KM Kamrul Quader and Justice Khizir Hayat gave this order to the Ministry of Education on a suo motu (voluntary) move.
