Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum has relieved Barrister AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon from Vice President post as he took over as President of Supreme Court Bar Association.
The forum confirmed it to media on Sunday.
The Supreme Court Bar Association election was held on March 6 and 7. Barrister Khokon and advocate Shah Monjurul Hoque were elected as the president and the general secretary respectively of the association for 2024-2025 session.
BNP-backed Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikya Parishad won four posts, including the president, out of 14, in the election.
Later, Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum sent a letter to Khokon not to take charge of the post.
