The family of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has applied again to the Home Ministry seeking permission to take her abroad for advanced treatment.
Her younger brother Shamim Iskander submitted an application to the ministry on March 6, BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan said on Sunday.
Earlier in several times, the family of the former prime minister applied for permission to take her abroad for treatment.
However, Khaleda Zia went to Evercare Hospital, Dhaka on Wednesday to undergo some urgent medical tests as per the decision of the medical board formed for her treatment.
She has been suffering from arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung, and eye issues for a long time.
She also experienced bleeding in the digestive tract and liver cirrhosis later in November.
