Two people were killed and at least 15 others injured in Wazirpur upazila of Barishal on Wednesday afternoon.
Among the deceased, one was identified as Sumon Sarder, 15, son of Bellal Sarder, a resident of Sanuhar village in the upazila.
Wazirpur Model Police Station inspector (investigation) Touhiduzzaman said a bus 'Chaklader Paribahan' first ran over a teenage boy while crossing the road in Sanuhar area and then, fell into a roadside pond, leaving two dead and at least 15 others injured.
However, the driver of the bus managed to flee, he said.
